Introduction and Dispute Policy

How introductions work

1. A registered business expresses interest. 2. BuildItS.A reviews it. 3. The customer approves or declines. 4. Only after approval are contact details shared, and messages can be exchanged on the platform.

Customer choice

Customers decide whether any business receives their details. Declining an introduction has no consequence.

What an introduction is not

An introduction is not a recommendation, guarantee, contract, quotation or warranty. Any agreement is made directly between the customer and the business.

Disputes

Disputes about quotations, workmanship or payment are between the customer and the business. BuildItS.A can review reports of misconduct on the platform and may suspend accounts, but does not act as an arbitrator. You may also have rights under the Consumer Protection Act and through bodies such as the National Consumer Commission or the relevant trade or professional body.

Reporting

Use "Report a problem" in your dashboard. We aim to review reports promptly and will tell you what we can do.
